Company and Union Bargaining Committees Open Contract Discussions

This week, the Kroger Central Division and UFCW Local 700 bargaining committees began negotiations on a new contract for Fort Wayne area associates, meeting on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

Proposals Exchanged

During this week of bargaining, the Union and Company bargaining committees exchanged several proposals, working through many non-economic items.

What’s New

The bargaining committees are scheduled to meet Tuesday, September 30, through Thursday, October 2.

Bargaining for new contracts is a thoughtful process and can take time. By working together, discussing ideas, and finding areas of compromise, we can reach an agreement that invests in our associates and keeps groceries affordable, too.
