Company and Union Return to Conversations on Modified Agreement

The Kroger Central Division and UFCW Local 700 bargaining committees have scheduled an additional meeting date to return to their conversations on the modifications to the fully recommended tentative agreement.

What’s New

The Company and Union will meet on Wednesday, June 25 to continue their discussions on the next steps.

 

Last week, we presented the following modifications to the tentative agreement that was fully recommended through collaboration with the UFCW Local 700 bargaining committee.

Modifications to Fully Recommended Tentative Agreement

  • Modify the term of the agreement to three years.
  • Wages increase for top-rate associates—including Department Leaders, Assistant Department Leaders, Lead Clerks, and top-rate Certified Pharmacy Technicians.

  • Enhancements to Courtesy Clerk wages.
  • Eligible Step 1 employees averaging 30+ hours per week as of May 31, 2025, advance to the Step 2 Schedule “A” Wage Scale on January 4, 2026, ensuring these associates move to Step 2 regardless of hours worked between May 31, 2025, and October 1, 2025.

Changes to Healthcare

  • Spousal Coverage for eligible associates (dental, vision, and medical) will become effective on January 1, 2028.
